OPEN CLASS: ANTIGONE

OPEN CLASS: ANTIGONE

The importance of Greek mythology to modern literature is indisputable. Latin language teacher Milena Pavlović and Serbian language teacher Katarina Urošević made an introduction to the famous Greek tragedy Antigone for the students of first grade. Students listened attentively to the tragic story of Oedipus. They learned the meaning of the suffering, dramatic unity, and at the end they experienced catharsis through this moving story of a tragic hero. The biggest satisfaction for teachers was that most of the student read this tragic story.
