The musical play “The Producers”, directed by Jug Radivojevic, was seen on 12^th April, 2016 in Theatre on Terazije. The main characters are Max Bialysctock (starring Nebojsa Dugalic) and Leo Bloom (starring Slobodan Stefanovic). The musical lasted from 8.30 to 10.0 p.m. and it has two acts. The first act seemed a bit more dynamic and more interesting than the second. The musical is about a swindle conspired by a musical producer Max Bialysctock and his accountant Leo Bloom so as to raise two million dollars and run off to Rio. Unfortunately, Max ends up in jail. Together with a girl who they both like, Leo goes to Rio, but he returns home and in the middle of the Max’s trial tells the judge that Max is a good man who has never hurt anyone despite his swindling. After a few months spent in jail, Leo and Max release themselves and the other criminals by bringing joy to their hearts. Later, they become famous musical producers and the end is happy.

We liked the musical. The atmosphere was cheerful and we were impressed by the performance. We are looking forward to the next theatre visit!
