Regarding the Mother Language Day, a workshop – Let us cherish Serbian language and culture- was held. We read a few entries from Dictionary written by Vuk Karadzic (Vukov Rječnik). The objective of the workshop was to make a connection with the current moment, contemporary customs and traditions.

The students coped quite well with this challenge. Most of the customs were familiar to them. They tried calligraphy writing. Together we agreed that the best way to cherish our language is to read and write more, to have more Serbian classes and to talk more. Modern lifestyle overpowers a healthy spoken word, and that must now be allowed.
