Marko is a member of the international network of institutions, scientists and independent researchers of the global nuclear history, Nuclear Proliferation International History Project, 

under the patronage of the Woodrow Wilson Center (Washington, D.C.).

He is currently working on his PhD project, Tito’s Proliferation Puzzle: The Yugoslav Nuclear Program, 1948-1970.
