International Cambridge and IB Diploma programmes
Being a recognized International Cambridge Centre since 2008, the "Ruđer Bošković" educational system implements the following programs:
- In primary school:
1) International Primary Programme (age group 6 to 11)
2) International Secondary 1 Programme (age group 12 to 14)
- In high school:
3) International General Certificate of Secondary education - IGCSE (age group 15 to 16)
- as part of the professional advancement of teachers:
4) Cambridge International Certificate for Teachers and Trainers (for teachers who complete the accredited training programme).
IGCSE
Cambridge IGCSE - Cambridge International program for students attending first and second year of high school
IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is the world's most popular international program, designed for the population aged 14 to 16 years. The program provides excellent preparation for further education because it develops skills for critical thinking, research and problem solving.
IB programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a general educational programme offered in the third and fourth year of high school, and completed by taking exams at the end of the fourth grade.
The objectives of IB Programme are:
- Establishment of international educational standards,
- Fostering understanding of different cultures through shared academic experience,
- Attaining high academic achievements,
- Multifaceted education of individuals,
- Developing sensitivity to the needs of others,
- Raising awareness about the importance of preserving the environment.
To the students the International Baccalaureate offers:
- A modern curriculum,
- Developing knowledge and skills in various fields of science, necessary for further education,
- Acquiring creative experience by preparing term papers, and implementing projects and research
- Building a responsible attitude towards one's own education,
- Developing learning techniques and self-discipline,
- Developing critical thinking, a personal view of the world, as well as personal creativity and human values.
Students that receive an IB diploma are eligible to apply to universities in more than 110 countries throughout the world, including the most prestigious ones. Depending on their results, they can apply for partial or full scholarships at given universities.

Subjects and activities:
Group 1: English as a first language, Serbian as a first language
Group 2: English, Russian, Spanish, French and German as a second language
Group 3: History, Economics, Business and Management, Psychology
Group 4: Chemistry, Biology, Physics
Group 5: Mathematics, Computer Science
Group 6: Visual Arts
According to IB rules three subjects must be at the standard level, and three at a high level. The levels are chosen by the student.
