The first day of the International Days at Rudjer focused on economics- we attended a very interesting lecture by Professor Mihailo Crnobrnja,
after which we had workshops where we discussed about the pros and cons of the refugee influx in Europe. The role of Rudjer students was to manipulate
the situation by directing the participants of the conference towards a leftist or a rightist view of the whole refugee crisis. During the cross-examination period,
where we got to present the two opposing sides to the situation, and a third, hypothetical situation, we had an extremely heated debate. After the debate,
non-local participants visited Belgrade’s major landmarks, before an evening cruise alongside Rudjer students and teachers(!). Overall, it was a great day,
all of us had an excellent time debating and getting to know each other.

The second day of the conference was devoted to the research of the current political issues. The working day started with the exceptional lecture given by Natan Albahari, Project Manager at ISAC Fund in Belgrade. Natan gave a really interesting lecture that grabbed the attention of all the participants.
Our students had a task of presenting on the topic of the Internet censorship in America and China, and thus reinforced their understanding of the importance of the human freedom. During the debate, the students were divided into groups, representing three countries and one non-government organisation. They discussed the current immigrant crisis and possible solutions to that problem. The students were expected to fulfil not only the interest of the countries but also to take into account human rights and freedom.
With this discussion we finished our two day event which we spent with these great people from Bosnia and Hercegovina, Bulgaria and Macedonia.
