The junior basketball team of Serbia, among which are our students, Marko Pecarski and Uros Trifunovic, defended the title of the champion of Europe after beating the team of Latvia 99:90 in the final.

Pecarski contributed to the Serbian victory in the finals with a double-double, scoring 34 points and 13 rebounds, and his magnificent performance throughout the tournament was also acknowledged by the organizers who awarded him the title of the most useful player of the European basketball championship for juniors. The greatest support to the Partizan center was given by Uros Trifunovic.
