We took another opportunity to learn outside the classroom. We followed the footsteps of our Nobel Prize winner on December 13th , 2018. We have visited the museum house of Ivo Andric. Before we entered the building, besides the bust of the famous author, Bogdan told us about his life. The curator of the museum was interesting. We have learned that Andric was a good student (although his Ds were not promising in the beginning), an exceptional altruistic and gentleman. Such people are true ambassadors of our country in the world. We had already known most of the information. However, some of it was surprising. His award speech was in French (the language of diplomacy at that time). Two of his books were translated into Chinese (our friend Jovana has noticed this). We continued our walk to Moscow Hotel, and to 7 Prizrenska Street , SANU (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts) building (Andric became an academic in 1926). We ended the walk on Kalemegdan fortress, on basketball courts where Ivo was often seen as a guest. A cold day did not hinder our orienteering members to have fun.
