On Friday we had a literary meeting with Hana Piščević, a former student of Primary School Rudjer Bosković, who was awarded the second prize for Young Literary Super Talent for her first novel Look at the Blue Plane. This meeting was preceded by the encounter at the Book Fair, when our students of Grade 8 and Grade 9 bought her book and enthusiastically read it before this meeting. In a nice and pleasant atmosphere, we got answers to the questions that had tormented us during the reading of this book, the questions that only the author could provide. And Hana?… She amazed all present with her directness and heartiness. She revealed that she wants to carry Peter Pan in her heart forever so much that we wanted it too. To be great and small at the same time; to be a grown up but a child still inside. We cannot wait to read what comes next.
