Our 5 – 8 Grade students from Ruđer participated in the municipal competition in table tennis. Ruđer colours were defended by the following girls’ team: Luna Peić, Tara Čolić, Ema Jovanović and Milica Ćipranić. In the teams competition, the students did not have good results due to a very strong competition. However, in the singles competition Luna Peić 8/1 lost the game for the bronze medal.

The boys' team had better results. They had both quality and a little bit of luck which is so important in sports. Both Ruđer teams, consisting of Uroš Mitrović, Petar Živanović (Team 1), Aleksa Lolić, Nikša Balaban (Team 2) were victorious and took first places in various groups which enabled them to fight as teams for the gold, namely silver medal. Aleksa Lolić i Nikša Balaban were better in the final match so they got the gold medal, whereas Uroš Mitrović i Petar Živanović took the second place and won the silver medal. Aleksa Lolić attracted everybody's attention when he reached the finals without losing a single game and eventually managed to win the tournament, get the gold medal and be awarded the title of the best player. In the singles, Uroš Mitrović got the bronze medal. In the school hall in Sremčica, everyone could admire our competitors who were up to the task. They were synchronized, skilful and good players. We congratulate all the participants and thank them for showing a good character and fair play!!!
