On Thursday, 3rd October, we were visited by a group of students from the Danish school “Grybskov Gymnasium”. This school has a Danish school curriculum and the group of students who came to Belgrade for their excursion has a particular focus on their music education. In accordance with this we organized a lecture about folk music in the Balkans delivered by our History teacher, Milan Piljak. The lecture was inspired by the documentary “Whose is this song?“ directed by Adela Peeva, a Bulgarian film director. After the lecture the students from Denmark had the opportunity to attend our IB classes: English A1, History, Theory of Knowledge & Business Management. The atmosphere was cheerful and lively during the breaks. And finally an arrangement was made between our two schools to continue cooperating through a teacher-student exchange programme.
