EXCURSION-MILAN

EXCURSION-MILAN

This year I went to the excursion to Italy with my class. We all had very nice, interesting and unforgettable moments.

On the first day we visited the center of Milan. The plans for the city center sightseeing were ruined by rain and bad weather. However, we were all in a very good mood. We had enough free time that day and we spent the majority in the Emanuel II shopping center.

Fortunately, the rain and the bad weather stopped on the second. Then we visited two museums: the Museum of Art Brera and the National Science Museum of Leonardo da Vinci. The artworks in the Brera gallery left a strong impression on me because they were presented in a very realistic way with a lot of detail. The Science Museum did not leave such an impression on me and did not fulfill my expectations. There were no interesting exhibits that would interest visitors. After visiting the museum, we headed towards the city center. This time the sunshine allowed us to see the cathedral in the center of Milan, Duomo di Milano. This building made an impression on me, primarily because of its fantastic architecture.

The next day we visited the port city of Genoa. We saw the harbor and the ships there. We had very little free time, so we did not get to visit the aquarium. We also saw the house of Christopher Columbus. After visiting Genoa, we went to the outlet Serravalle. We spent three hours there looking for the perfect outfit. Everyone found something for themselves.

On the fourth day we visited Turin, the former capital of Italy, where we could see very spacious squares and incredible fountains. Many beautiful pictures will remind me of this city.

We spent the last day of the excursion in Monza. A very interesting part of the day was when we visited the track where Formula One races are held. Before the visit to the track, it seemed to me that it would be very boring. It turned out it was not true. Observing the racing training is a very special experience. We visited the center of Monza. We visited the Cathedral in Monza where the Italian crown is preserved, which is considered a relic. In my opinion Monza is a very nice and interesting town with a very interesting and rich history. During the whole excursion I tried to taste as many specialties of Italian cuisine. I liked most Italian specialties, and the most beautiful was Italian ice cream.

This excursion will remain in my memory for the unforgettable and interesting moments spent with my classmates.
