We left Belgrade not too early in the morning, from the airport where it was a bit colder than usual for this time of the year. We arrived in Athens and there we were greeted by the rain. We spent the rest of the day at the hotel.
Athens is similar to Belgrade, a nice but dirty city. On the second day (Sunday) it was constantly raining, and we had an organized trip to the Acropolis. As soon as we climbed the site, we forgot about all the faults of this city because, in the whole, the view simply fascinated us. After the Acropolis we went to the city center where we had free time, the only bad thing was that it was still raining. Before our departure for the hotel, we witnessed the change of the guard in front of the parliament.
On the third day we visited the outlet McArthur-Glen. After a little afternoon rest, we had dinner, and went to the nearby beach, where some of us had a swim in the sea.
On the fourth day we went on a full day trip. We saw the Corinthian channel, Epidaurus, we visited the ancient city of Nafli, so that at the end of the day we even reached Mycenea. We had free time there, which we spent exploring the remains of the ancient Greek civilization.
On the fifth day we visited Cape Sunion and Poseidon's temple, after which we returned to the center of Athens and spent a wonderful afternoon.
The last day of the excursion was Thursday. We woke up early in the morning to pack things, then walked around Glyphada and spent some time on the beach that was across our hotel. Then we returned to the hotel to join the group and headed for the Athens airport. We were sad because our adventure came to an end!
