EXCURSION-MADRID

EXCURSION-MADRID

The very thought of attending a graduation excursion awakens special mood, mixed emotions, sorrow, because it is our last excursion, the last opportunity to get together and be a whole, and on the other hand another chance to get to know each other better, become closer and strengthen our friendship.

We gathered on September 29th at the airport and excitedly made our way towards the gate. We all wanted to record each moment and that's why the flashlights came from everywhere. After a long journey we were all tired, but that did not prevent us from taking the walk with the teachers. On the second day we were already rested, we visited the center of Madrid and the longest street of Grande Via. After that, we had free time. Some of us used that time for shopping, some for resting in some nice cafe or restaurant, and some continued to explore this magnificent city. On the third day we visited the Prado Museum where we had the opportunity to see the works of famous painters such as Velasquez, Goya, El Greco, Titian ... On the fourth day we had a trip to Toledo, the old capital of Spain, where we were totally amazed with the architecture, the position of the city and the famous cathedral painted by the artist El Greco. Upon returning to Madrid, we visited the Royal Palace and enjoyed the splendor of Baroque-style interiors. On the fifth day we went on a trip to the famous royal complex Escorial, visited the palace, saw the first library in Spain, and the place where all the Spanish kings were buried.

In the evening we enjoyed the gardens of beautiful Madrid cafes, in the squares of the very center of the city, which beamed in life, the wonderful atmosphere in the rhythm of Latino music that inspired the dance. All in all, it was a nice journey and wonderful companionship that we all will remember for a long time.
