Know our differences

At our joint interdisciplinary class we practiced description. We described our classmates in the foreign language on our left, and the classmates on our right – in English. A part of the class was named “Guess, who it is!” We drew notes which had descriptions of all those present, which we had written in the Serbian class. That part of the class was the most interesting one, because there were very amusing descriptions and comments. Afterwards we discussed which quality a person should have that has a specific feeling. We solved phaseologisms, which have adjectives as the basis, very quickly. During the next stage we got the task – Personality. We had to finish the sentences with started with – I am...

At the end of the class - reflections, the students and the teachers answered some questions. We learnt a lot from one another, another expression to describe our personality, that the coordinator was nice… their role in the class was active: to write, describe, talk, comment, express their opinion.

These classes are interesting because everyone participates, there is a lot of laughter, we become closer. Almost 95% of students felt good, wonderful, self-confident, someone had stage fright and was scared. They would not change anything in their participation. Some students thought they could have been more active and overcome their shyness.

The class was discussed for a long time, some descriptions were commented on during the weekend. Smiles and pleasure seen on the students’ and teachers’ faces was the sign that the class was successful.
